In Karnataka, they called ‘Carrot Kosambari” I came across this while traveling around in South India and I fell in love with this salad the moment I tasted it! - 1 cup grated carrot
- 1/4 cup moong dal
- 2 tbsp grated coconut
- two green chillies finely chopped
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- salt to taste
- 1 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves Instructions
- Wash and then soak moong dal in a bowl for 20 to 30 mins.
- Then drain the water completely from soaked dal.
- In a wide bowl, combine grated carrot, soaked moong dal, grated coconut, finely chopped green chillies, lemon juice and salt.
- Mix well until well combined.
