Serves 2 This one's a personal favorite of mine. Beautifully soft chicken, glistening in sauce and the smell of roasted honey takes the flavor to a whole new level. - 450g boneless skinless chicken thigh pieces
- 1/3 cup fresh orange juice
- 1/4 cup lite soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp red chili flakes
- 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
- one tsp sesame oil
- For cooking
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- White sesame seeds and spring onion greens for garnishing How to marinate the chicken
- In a wide bowl, combine soy sauce, orange juice, honey, lemon juice, red chili flakes, grated ginger and sesame oil, whisk together all marinade ingredients until combined.
- Cut the chicken into 1-inch pieces, place into the marinade, then mix it well and keep it aside for 20 mins. How to cook the chicken
- Meanwhile, heat a nonstick pan over medium-high heat, add in olive oil.
- Then, remove chicken from the marinade with a slotted spoon (reserve the remaining marinade in the bowl itself for further use) and add it to the hot pan and saute or cook well until browned.
