Ingredients
- 300 grams chicken breast pieces
- 1 cup, diced mixed capsicums
- 1 medium-sized, cubed and layers separated onion
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2&1/2 tbsp yogurt
- 1 tsp ginger and garlic paste
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1&1/2 tsp crushed dried fenugreek leaves
- 3/4 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp or as needed salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Clean and cut the chicken breasts into medium size, then pat dry with kitchen tissues.
- In a separate wide bowl, mix together all the ingredients given under marination until incorporated.
- Add in chicken pieces, mixed capsicums and diced onions, mix well until well combined and keep it aside for about one hour.
- After one hour, separate the capsicums in one bowl and diced onions in another bowl.
- Now heat a nonstick pan with olive oil, when the oil heats, add the marinated chicken pieces with marinade and stir fry for 3 to 5 mins or until both sides turn into light golden brown.
- Also add the marinated onions and fry for another 3 mins or until they become transparent.
- Then add marinated capsicums and fry for 2 more mins or until half cooked. Don't over cook, because capsicums and onions should be crunchy.
- Now tasty kadai chicken is ready to serve.
