Milk Peda

Traditionally, it is made with khoya or evaporated milk. But here I used condensed milk, yogurt and others. This method takes only 10 minutes to cook in the microwave. While cooking in the microwave, keep an eye so that the mixture does not get overcooked. You can also cook the mixture in a pan instead of the microwave.

Furthermore, I would like to share some of my suggestions for making milk peda. Firstly, try to use fresh yogurt, avoid sour ones because it may increase the chances of the mixture curdling. Since the microwave cooking functions vary from oven to oven, you can adjust the time to get the right consistency. Furthermore, if you don’t follow the time intervals properly, it will begin to curdle and look a lot like milk halwa. With the same mixture, you can also make chocolate peda, just adding some cocoa powder when the mixture is done and knead it gently.

Grease your hands with ghee, while shaping the balls as the mixture is sticky. Finally, use microwave-safe wide glass bowls, as the mixture raises while cooking.
