Ingredients

  • 1 cup mixed chopped veggies (1 carrot, 6 beans, 1 potato, 10 small florets of cauliflower, 1 handful of frozen green peas)
  • one medium sized onion
  • 1 large sized tomato
  • 1&1/2 tsp ginger and garlic paste
  • 1 handful mint leaves
  • 3/4 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1 tsp lemon juice or curd/yogurt
  • 1 tsp salt or as needed
  • 1&1/2 cups water or as needed          

To Grind

  • 1/3 cup grated coconut
  • 2 green chillies
  • 1/2 tsp fennel seeds
  • 2 tsp fried gram dal (optional)
  • 6 whole cashews
  • 1/4 cup water          

To Temper

  • 1 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1/2 tsp fennel seeds
  • 4 cloves
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 star anise
  • 2 cardamom pods
