How To Make Eggless Rava Cake?

  • First, start by grinding the white sugar in a mixie jar until powdered. This step is essential to ensure that the sugar is finely ground and will incorporate well into the cake batter.
  • In a wide bowl, mix together the roasted rava, powdered sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. It's important to ensure that these dry ingredients are well combined before adding the wet ingredients.
  • Adding flavorless oil, milk, and vanilla essence to the dry ingredients and mixing until well incorporated is the next crucial step. This ensures that the cake batter has a smooth and even consistency.
  • Allowing the batter to rest for 30 minutes before baking is important as it allows the flavors to meld together and results in a more flavorful cake.
  • Preheating the oven to 180 degrees C and preparing the loaf pan with parchment paper ensures that the cake bakes evenly and does not stick to the pan.
  • Adding curd to the batter right before baking is another key step. It helps to create a moist and tender cake crumb, as well as adds a subtle tangy flavor to the cake.
  • Finally, baking the cake for about 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean is crucial for achieving the perfect texture.
