Furthermore, I would like to share some of my suggestions to make an eggless banana chocolate cake. Firstly, try to add ripe or overripe bananas to this recipe. I used olive oil, but you can use any other flavorless oil or coconut oil. Finally, if your batter is too thick add one to two tablespoons of milk to get a smooth batter.

Eggless Banana Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

  • 16 no's Dates
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) Hot Milk
  • 2 medium sized (190 grams) Bananas
  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil or any other flavourless oil
  • 1 &1/2 cups (195 grams) Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Cocoa Powder
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) Milk
  • 1/4 cup Chocolate Chips
  • 2 tbsp chopped Walnuts

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 180 degrees C. Butter and flour or spray 9-inch loaf pan then line the bottom of the pan with parchment paper.
  • Remove the seeds of the dates and keep it aside.
  • In a bowl, add dates and 1/2 cup hot milk, cover and keep it aside for 30 minutes or until it becomes soft.
  • After 30 mins, place the softened dates with milk and chopped banana in a mixie jar and grind it until you get a smooth paste.
  • Transfer the mixture to a wide bowl then add 1/4 cup olive oil or any other flavorless oil, whisk well until combined.
  • Then sift the wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  • Also, add cocoa powder and fold gently by using a spatula.
  • Now gradually add 1/2 cup milk and fold gently until you get a smooth batter.
  • Then add vanilla essence and mix well.
  • Also, add chocolate chips, fold gently.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and level it.
  • Finally, sprinkle some chocolate chips and chopped walnuts on top of the batter and press them slightly.
  • Place it in the preheated oven and bake it for about 40 to 45 mins or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
  • Remove from the oven and cool it for about 10 mins before removing it from the pan.
  • Slice it up and serve. Enjoy!

Preheat your oven to 180 degrees C. Butter and flour or spray 9-inch loaf pan

or until it becomes soft.
