How to Store Strawberry Streusel Coffee Cake

  • Use fresh strawberries: It's important to use fresh strawberries for this recipe, as they will not only add great flavor but will also hold up better during storage. Be sure to check for any mold or soft spots before using them in the recipe.
  • Store the streusel separately: If you have any leftover cake with streusel topping, it's best to store the streusel separately to prevent it from becoming soggy. Simply remove the streusel from the cake and store it in an airtight container at room temperature.
  • Avoid storing in direct sunlight: Be sure to store the cake in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Exposure to sunlight can cause the cake to dry out and alter its flavor.
  • Enjoy within a few days: For the best taste and texture, it's recommended to enjoy the cake within a few days of baking. This will ensure that it's at its freshest and most delicious state.

By following these simple storage tricks, you can maintain the freshness of your delicious homemade Strawberry Streusel Coffee Cake for longer periods of time.
