  • 2 tsp ginger and garlic paste
  • 2 green chilies
  • 1/2 medium sized tomato, chopped
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp fennel seeds
  • 4 cloves
  • 1 inch cinnamon stick
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Few curry leaves
  • some coriander leaves

  • Heat a pan and dry roast the peppercorns until spluttering and a nice aroma comes.
  • Then remove from the heat, cool down for some time and place them in a blender and blend until coarsely.
